About Kristin S. Todd

This tournament is in loving memory of Kristin S. Todd! Watch the video below to understand more about her story.

Kristin Sanborn Todd, at 32 years young and 34 weeks pregnant was diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer. Her once “normal” life as a healthy avid-exerciser, devoted wife, family member, and dedicated Nurse Practitioner, while awaiting the arrival of their first child, was turned upside down.

She endured constant treatment, procedures and surgeries from July 2013 on. She passed away, still fighting in April 2018, just shy of her son’s fifth birthday. Kristin was a huge advocate for funding Stage IV research after learning how little of research money goes towards Metastatic Breast Cancer.

Her mission during these years of her journey was to spread awareness of the need for more research in order for patients to live longer with the diagnosis. Proceeds from the pink shirt sales of this tournament will go towards Kristen’s cause.
